Join Lily Pad’s Summer Mahjong League — five evenings of tiles, laughter, and friendly competition! Whether you’re sharpening your skills or just love playing with friends, this league is for you. Over the season, you’ll improve your game, meet fellow players, and compete for prizes in our welcoming parlor. 

⛱Schedule

    • June 10th · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
    • June 24th · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
    • July 8th · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
    • July 22nd · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
    • August 5th · Championship Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
  • Beginner: Best 3 scores of the first 4 games each night count
  • Intermediate: Best 5 scores of the first 6 games each night count 

Substitutes are allowed (see policy below).

⛱Registration

  • Includes all 5 sessions
  • Eligible for weekly prizes & championship prize

⛱Skill Levels

  • Beginner: Mahjong 101 or equivalent required, slower pace of play, still learning NMJL card and rules
  • Intermediate: Comfortable with NMJL card and rules, faster pace of play

ATTENTION PAST BEGINNERS
Is it time for you to move up to Intermediate? If you agree with the below, it may be time!

  • You clearly understand the NMJL Rules and Card
  • You prefer playing at a faster pace of play
  • You can identify hands quickly
  • You've been at the top of the past beginner leaderboards
  • You prefer playing with others that clearly know rules and play faster

Tables will be assigned by skill level. Friend requests honored first week of play.

⛱Sub Policy

Can’t make a night? Send a substitute or let us help you find a sub and their score will count toward your total. Subs may still win weekly prizes. If you need a sub more than 2 nights, there will be a 25% deduction to your sub's scores after the first night.

  • Self-pick +10 | Jokerless +10 | Wall game +10 | Discard –10
  • Beginner: Best 3 scores of the first 4 games each night count
  • Intermediate: Best 5 scores of the first 6 games each night count
  • Weekly winners receive small prizes 
  • League Champion Grand Prize: set of designer tiles
