🍁Fall Intermediate Mahjong League🍁

Join Lily Pad’s Fall Intermediate Mahjong League — five Wednesday evenings of tiles, laughter, and friendly competition! Whether you’re sharpening your skills or just love playing with friends, this league is for you. Over the season, you’ll improve your game, meet fellow players, and compete for prizes in our welcoming parlor. This league is just for intermediate players and pace of play is 5-6 games per night (~2hours).

• • August 26th · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
  • September 9th · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
  • September 23rd · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
  • October 7th · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 
  • October 21st · Championship Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM) 

• Intermediate: Best 5 scores of the first 6 games each night count

Substitutes are allowed (see policy below).

• Includes all 5 sessions
• Eligible for weekly prizes & championship prize

🍁Skill Level

• Intermediate: Comfortable with NMJL card and rules, faster pace of play

Friend requests honored first week of play.

🍁Sub Policy

Can’t make a night? Send a substitute or let us help you find a sub and their score will count toward your total. Subs may still win weekly prizes. If you need a sub more than 2 nights, there will be a 25% deduction to your sub's scores after the first night.

• Self-pick +10 | Jokerless +10 | Wall game +10 | Discard –10
• Intermediate: Best 5 scores of the first 6 games each night count
• Weekly winners receive small prizes

League Registration Notice

Please register for the league that best matches your current skill level. Our Beginner League is reserved for beginner players who are still building confidence with the game.

If you are already playing at an intermediate or advanced level, please do not register for the Beginner League, even if your preferred league has sold out. To keep the experience fair and enjoyable for everyone, we reserve the right to move registrations to the appropriate league or cancel a registration if it does not match the intended skill level.

If we need to move or cancel your registration due to a mismatch in skill level, your registration fee will be issued as store credit that can be used toward a future Lily Pad Mahjong purchase or event.

All open play and league registrations are subject to the City of Chicago Amusement Tax, which we are required to collect by law.
