Join Lily Pad’s Daytime Fall League— six Friday mornings of tiles, laughter, and friendly competition! Whether you’re sharpening your skills or just love playing with friends, this league is for you. Over the season, you’ll improve your game, meet fellow players, and compete for prizes in our welcoming parlor. 

🍁 Schedule: 

    • Sept 18th· League Morning (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
    • Sept 25th· League Morning (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
    • Oct 2nd· League Morning (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
    • Oct 9th· League Morning (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
    • Oct 16th· League Morning (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
    • Oct 23rd· League Morning (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

🍁 Registration

  • Includes all 6 sessions
  • Eligible for weekly prizes & championship prize

🍁 Skill Level

  • Beginner: Mahjong 101 or equivalent required, slower pace of play, still learning NMJL card and rules (3-4 games per 2 hours)
  • Intermediate: Comfortable with NMJL card and rules, faster pace of play (5-6 games per 2 hours)

🍁 Sub Policy

Can’t make a day? Send a substitute! We will try our best to find subs but sometimes may not be possible because there is less daytime availability for daytime subs!

🍁 Scoring & Prizes

  • NMJL rules with bonuses:
  • Self-pick +10 | Jokerless +10 | Wall game +10 | Discard –10
  • Beginner: Best 3 scores of the first 4 games each night count
  • Intermediate:  Best 5 scores of the first 6 games each night count
  • Weekly winners receive small prizes
  • League Champion Grand Prize: Prizes for 1st-3rd

All open play and league registrations are subject to the City of Chicago Amusement Tax, which we are required to collect by law.
