Cathy is a Chicago-based artist and designer known for her colorful, layered paintings and playful textile collections. Raised in small-town Mississippi and later inspired by the vibrant culture of New Orleans, Cathy brings Southern charm and bold creativity to everything she touches. Since 2004, her work has been featured in galleries across the country, and her designs have evolved into wallpapers, fabrics, and home accents that celebrate joy and color.

In 2020, Cathy opened the Cathy Lancaster Gallery in Chicago—a space where art, community, and creativity thrive. That spirit now lives on in Lily Pad Mahjong, a unique Mahjong parlor nestled inside the gallery.
