Summer Friday Open Play

Grab your tiles and join the fun! Open Play is a relaxed, social time for Mahjong lovers of all levels to gather, practice, and play just for the joy of it. No formal instruction—just great games, good company, and plenty of clacking tiles.

We’re located right near the corner of Addison & Clark, just a few doors down from Wrigley Field in the heart of Lakeview. It’s a lively neighborhood with lots happening year-round—Cubs games, concerts, the Christkindlmarket, special events at Gallagher Way, and all kinds of neighborhood festivals and shows. Because of that, traffic and parking can shift a bit depending on what’s going on nearby.

Booking Policy

Our sessions are small and every seat matters to the group. We appreciate your understanding and support of our small business.

• Reschedule requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance
• If plans change and you contact us before the 72 hour window, we will do our best to help with store credit
• Inside the 72 hour window (including same-day changes and no-shows) we are unable to offer store credit or rescheduling
• All tickets are final sale; we do not offer cash refunds or ticket transfers

These policies help us keep classes running smoothly and ensure the best experience for everyone at the table.

Open Play Codes

If you have a code for a free Open Play, it may only be used once for an Open Play session. It cannot be transferred to another class or event, and it cannot be used to reschedule a class.

All open play and league registrations are subject to the City of Chicago Amusement Tax, which we are required to collect by law.
