Beginner Valentine's Mini-League

Join Lily Pad’s Beginner Mini-League— three Monday evenings of tiles, laughter, and friendly competition! Whether you’re sharpening your skills or just love playing with friends, this league is for you. Over the season, you’ll improve your game, meet fellow players, and compete for prizes in our welcoming parlor. This is a perfect league for new players!

💕 Schedule: Mondays in January (skips Presidents' day)

• Feb 2nd· League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM)
• Feb 9th · League Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM)
• SKIPS Feb 16th for Presidents' Day
• Feb 23rd· Championship Night (6:30 - 8:30 PM)

💕 Registration

• Includes all 3 sessions
• Eligible for weekly prizes & championship

💕 Skill Level

• Beginner (0–1 years): Mahjong 101 or equivalent required

💕 Sub Policy

Can’t make a night? Send a substitute or ask us to find a sub and their score will count toward your total. Subs may still win weekly prizes.

💕 Scoring & Prizes

• NMJL rules with bonuses:
• Self-pick +10 | Jokerless +10 | Wall game +10 | Discard –10
• Top 3 scores from first 4 games of the night count
• Weekly winners receive small prizes
• League Champion Grand Prize: An exclusive Lily Pad reward — revealed later this season! (Trust us, it’ll be worth it!)

All open play and league registrations are subject to the City of Chicago Amusement Tax, which we are required to collect by law.
